The Digital Health Forum runs 26–29 October under the theme “Scaling Digital Health: From Innovation to Impact,” aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s digital transformation agenda, and organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia. The audience is healthcare leaders, policymakers and technology innovators.
The argument starts from an uncomfortable observation: most healthcare AI pilots work, and very few reach production. So the talk is not a tour of capabilities — it is about what actually separates a demonstration from a system clinicians depend on.
The constraint has moved. Building is no longer the hard part; governing, observing and scaling is. Where it used to take years to turn a research algorithm into something a clinician could use, that distance has collapsed to days — and once it has, the bottleneck is no longer capability but verification, governance and the operational discipline to run an agent in a regulated clinical setting.
Which leads to the part that decides outcomes: scale requires platforms, not projects. Orchestration for multi-agent workflows, guardrails and observability as defaults rather than retrofits, data residency designed in rather than retrofitted, and accelerators and partner expertise that compress integration time.
